James Alvin Cotton, 24 of Rome, and Antonio Demarcus Palmer, 28 of Rome, were arrested this week after police said they found them both to illegally be in possession of guns.
Cotton was found with a loaded .380 handgun, while Palmer was found with a Smith and Wesson revolver.
Reports added that both men are convicted felons, which prevents them from owning a gun.
They were found with the weapon at a location on West 5th and 2nd Avenue.
Both are charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Cotton is additionally charged with parole violation.
