Tera Owens, 39, of Rome, James Duncan, 41, of Rome, and William Johnson, 35, of Kingston were arrested this week after stealing a package from another.
According to police reports, Owens was driving the vehicle when they went to the victim’s residence and stole a package valued at $130.
They proceeded to open the package and attempted to discard the box after taking out its contents.
It was also found that Owens was driving a vehicle that did not have insurance.
After their arrest, it was found that Duncan had violated his probation by failing to pay his court fees and testing positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine.
Owens is charged with tampering with evidence, theft by taking, and driving without insurance.
Duncan is charged with tampering with evidence, theft by taking, and probation violation.
Johnson is charged with tampering with evidence and theft by taking.
