Seven Romans, Raymond Randy Brown, 57, Berry Ellis, 56, Scott Dennis Hayes, 58, Versie Anne Jackson, 59, Randy Tutt, 57, and Jameka Lacole Wade, 28, were jailed at a home on Southern Street on numerous charges including animal cruelty and drug possession.
Reports said that officers executed a search warrant at the home on 2131 Southern Street and found dogs that were being neglected, as well as a quantity of meth and digital scales.
Brown is charged with cruelty to animals, possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, probation violation and parole violation.
Ellis is charged with possession of meth.
Tutt is charged with animal cruelty, possession of meth and possession of meth with intent to distribute.
Hayes, Versie Jackson and Brandy Jackson is charged with cruelty to animals.
Wade is charged with cruelty to animals, possession of meth, and possession of meth with intent to distribute,
Ulric Demond Allen Jr, 24 of Rome, was also jailed at the home for contempt of court.
