According to Bartow County Schools two students at South Central Middle School were sent to the hospital after buying candy laced with a suspected controlled substance.
Reports stated that an 8th grade student sold the candy to other students and two of them were transported to a local hospital with others being evaulated.
Officals said that they believe the incident is contained, but will continue to seek other students who may have ate the candy.
Charges are pending.
