Jacob Robert Owens, 23 of Cartersville, was jailed in Rome this week after police said he allegdely caused an injury to a police officer during a traffic stop at the intersection of Tucker Lane and Burnett Ferry Road.
Reports stated that the officer suffered an injury to his knee during the traffic stop in which Owens was found driving with an expired registration and a suspended license.
Owens is charged with felony obstruction, expired registration and suspended license.
