Darren Ragland, 53, of Rome was arrested this week for being in possession of drugs with the intent to sell them.

According to police, officers arrived at Ragland’s residence to serve an active arrest warrant. During the arrest, he was found to be in possession of more than 28 grams of methamphetamine that was packaged for resale. He was also found with more than a pound of marijuana. It was packaged into several baggies intended for resale.

Ragland is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, a felony count of trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession of marijuana of over an ounce, and felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
