Gary Wayne Acrey Jr, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he pushed his live-in girlfriend down on a bed and refused to let her leave the room.
The incident occurred at a home on Fosters Mill Road
Acrey is charged with simple battery and probation violation.
