Michael Cobb, 64, of Rome was arrested this week for sexual battery and assault.
According to police, Cobb was at Cookout on Martha Berry Blvd when he intentionally made an unwanted physical contact with the victim. Cobb touched the victim in the intimate parts of her body without consent. He then attempted to hit the victim with his shoe.
During this altercation, Cobb was found to be intoxicated. He was also asked to leave the business multiple times, to which he did not comply.
Cobb is charged with criminal trespass, public drunk, simple assault, and sexual battery.
