The final arrest was made in the Floyd County RICO case Wednesday when James David Fielder, 57 of Elloree, South Carolina, turned himself in.

Reports said that Fielder, a former employee of JCI, was responsible for numerous building projects being done, including Armuchee High School’s new roof, and new Pepperell and Model High Schools.

Authorities said that Fielder made over $45,000 from fraudulent invoices or inflated invoices for the projects.

Fielder is charged with four counts of violating Georgia’s Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, theft by receiving stolen property and records and reports of certain currency transactions.

According to the indictment that came down earlier this week, Fielder is a former employee of JCI and was responsible for several Floyd County Board of Education projects, such as the Armuchee High School roofing, Pepperell High School and Model High School, etc.
