Dennis James Brown Jr, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he caused a wreck at the intersection of Redmond Circle and Lavender Drive before fleeing the scene.
Reports said that Brown, while driving on a suspended license, crashed into another car and left the scene without stopping.
The wreck occurred back on June 28th and he was captured this week at Summerville Park.
Brown is charged with hit and run, failure to report an accident, failure to yield, driving on a suspended license and probation violation.
