A wanted sex offender, Tyrone Mason,40 of Ypsilanti, MI, was jailed at the Cottis Inn, in Rome, after reports said he stole a 2011 Chevrolet truck from the Days Inn on Turner McCall Blvd.
Reports added that while being taken into custody it was discovered that he was a fugitive from justice in Michigan after failing to comply with sex offender guidelines.
Mason is charged with theft by taking and fugitive from justice.
