Woman Found with Drugs in Body Cavilty, Rome Man Also Arrested

Kelsey Kianna Brown, 22 of Rockmart, was arrested in Rome after police said they found her in possession of a large quantity of marijuana and a gun.

Reports said that officers were placed on a BOLO for a car that Brown was found in near Velocity Gym on 2^nd Avenue.

While conducting the traffic stop police said that they detected a marijuana smell from inside the vehicle, leading them to preform a search.

The officers stated that they located a bookbag that contained an altered firearm, an extended magazine, marijuana, multiple plastic baggies, scales, and syringes.

After arriving at the jail deputies stated that they located a bag of marijuana inside of Brown.  Reports did not say what body cavity the drugs was inside of.

Brown is charged with crossing a guard line with drugs, criminal use of an article with an altered ID, possession of a gun during the commission of a crime, two counts purchase-possession-manufacture-distribution or sale of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.

A passenger in the vehicle, Jonathan Jerrod Health, 28 of Rome, was also taken into custody and charged with criminal use of an article with an altered ID, possession of a gun during the commission of a crime, two counts purchase-possession-manufacture-distribution or sale of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
