Kimberly Scoggins Jr, 55 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she was found shoplifting at Freds on Martha Berry Blvd.
Reports stated that Scoggins allegedly stole $22.15 in items from the store.
Police went on to say that while taking her into custody they found a Xanax on her.
Scoggins is charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, drugs in original container and theft by shoplifting.
