Jonathan Artega-Reynosa, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he held a 24 year-old woman down, while sitting on top of her in a bedroom.
The victim also reported that Artega-Reynosa threatened to kill her multiple times.
Officers stated that when they arrived on scene they heard the suspect yelling from a rear bedroom, where he was again holding the victim against her will.
Artega-Reynosa is charged with false imprisonment and terroristic threats and acts.
