Timothy Shane Perry, 44, of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly beat a young female child.
According to Floyd County Jail records, Perry pushed the child, hit her in the face, and left numerous marks on her body.
The altercation occurred late Tuesday at Perry’s home in Northridge Court.
Perry is charged with a battery and fist degree cruelty to children.
