Karen Ann Dow, 57 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she physically attacked her three grandchildren at her home on Doncaster Drive.
Reports said that Dow grabbed a 14 year-old girl by the wrist, which resulted in her suffering visible injury.
She then allegedly grabbed a 15 year-old boy by the hair and forcibly moved him.
Reports added that Dow then proceeded to strangle a 13 year-old girl before shoving her into a wall.
Dow is charged with three counts of 3rd-degree cruelty to children, two counts cruelty to children causing excessive pain, one count first degree cruelty to children, simple battery, battery, and aggravated assault.
