Dana Marie Smith, 33 of Lindale, was arrested after police said she hit a 36 year-old man in the head with a lamp.
Reports stated that Smith violated a protective order against her when she went to the home of the victim.
The incident occurred at a home on Wilkerson Road May 29.
Smith is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated stalking and battery.
