John William Dixon, 44 of Calhoun, was arrested in Rome after police said he was at a property on Pierce Hill Road, in which he had been previously evicted at.
Reports added that when he saw police pull up to the scene he threw a small baggie of meth.
Dixon is charged with criminal trespass and possession of meth.
