Stephen Franklin Boswell, 37 of Rome, was arrested after police said they found him to be in possession of marijuana and cocaine at a home on Weatherington Road.
Reports said that Boswell attempted to dump the cocaine on the ground and blow it away. The officer said that most of the cocaine was destroyed before they could stop him.
Boswell is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and obstruction of law enforcement.
