Jeffery Matthew Cagle, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said threatened to kill a man before hitting him in the face at the West Rome McDonalds.
Police stated that when they arrived on scene Cage pushed an officer in an effort to escape arrest.
They added that after capturing Cagle he refused to give up his hands in order to be handcuffed
Cagle is charged with battery, terroristic threats and acts, simple battery against a police officer and obstruction.
