Isaac Ray Nance, 35 of Rome, was jailed this week after he allegedly fled from Alabama in an effort to avoid an arrest.
Police stated that he was pulled over in Rome for not wearing a seat belt and in the process giving them a false name and date of birth.
It was also determined that he was driving on a suspended license.
Nance is charged with being a fugitive from justice, giving false information to police, seat belt violation, and driving on a suspended license.
