John Ricky Ayers, 48 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after police said Ayers told them that he was going to “put a bullet in heads” of officers that were transporting him on a committal order.
Ayers was taken into custody on Redmond Road near Division Street.
Ayers is charged with terroristic threats and acts.
