Floyd County authorities captured Bartow County shooting suspect Justin Lee Wade, 27 of Rome, on East 19th Street in Rome just after 8 pm Thursday evening.
Reports said that the shooting occurred on Franklin Drive off Cassville Road.
Wade was just released from being incarcerated Wednesday.
Floyd County authorities said that Wade was taken into custody without incident. They added that local officers extradited Wade back to Bartow County to face numerous charges.
According to Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap, deputies and first responders arrived on scene to find that a person had been fatally shot outside of a residence and another had been shot and ran from the scene. The injured person was transported to an area trauma center for emergency treatment. Both persons shot were male.
