Duke Henry McCool, 27 of Silver Creek, was arrested after police said he attacked a 22 year-old woman at a home on Tom Bing Road.
Reports said that McCool placed his hands around the woman’s throat and proceeded to hit her numerous times with his fist.
McCool is charged with battery and aggravated assault.
