Tenorris Edward Wright, 29 of Rome was arrested this week after police said he was found to be in possession of a stolen gun.
Reports said that he also escaped capture twice while being taken into custody.
He is also charged with possessing a bottle of alcohol with a broken seal inside his vehicle.
Wright is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, two counts of escape driving on a suspended license, open container and two counts obstruction of law enforcement.
