Guadalupe Lazcano, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly helped a man steal over $4,000 worth of merchandise from TJ Maxx in Rome.

Reports said that Lazcano, while working as an employee, placed unpaid for merchandise into bags and allowed Frederico Salcendo to walk out of the store with them on numerous occasions.

The alleged thefts occurred between  November 20, 2017 and April 1, 2018.

Lazcano is charged with felony theft by taking and probation violation.
