Titus Christopher Allen, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he burglarized a home on Kingston Highway.
Reports said that Allen allegedly stole a 9mm pistol, cellphone and $180 in cash last August 20th.
Authorities went on to use the money to buy drugs.
Allen is charged with first degree burglary.
