Edward Guy Paintin II, 45 of Rockmart, was arrested this week after he was accused of stealing more than $1,500 in furniture from a home on Elmwood Street in Rome.
Reports added that the theft occurred back on June 2017.
Paintin is charged with theft by taking and failure to appear.
