Joey Lee Floyd, 31 of Lindale, has been arrested after causing a wreck that resulted in the death of Dylan Jackson. Reports said that Floyd was driving under the influence of alcohol and in a reckless manner when he ran into Jackson at the intersection of US 27 South and the Maple intersection.
Thea wreck occurred Wednesday just before 11:00 p.m.
Floyd is charged with homicide by vehicle, DUI, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.
