Luis A Ambriz, 37 of Armuchee, was arrested this week after police said he hit a person in the head with a internet router at a location on Calhoun Road.
Reports said that the victim suffered a cut to their head.
Three small children witnessed the attack.
Ambriz is charged with battery and three counts cruelty to children.
