Gary Allen Tucker, 65 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he attempted to steal $764.47 in merchandise from Sams Club.
Reports said that Tucker loaded his buggy with numerous items, failed to pay for them, and then proceeded to his car where he began to load the items in his trunk.
Tucker is charged with felony shoplifting.
