Roger Bryan Redd, 45 of Adairsville, was arrested this week after police said he went into a home in Rome and placed a woman and her child in fear of their lives.
Reports said that the 13 year-old child suffered “excessive mental pain” in the altercation.
Redd is charged with two counts simple assault, criminal trespass and cruelty to children.
