Mickey Lee Morris, 42 of Adairsville, was jailed this week after police said he stole a Smith and Wesson .40 caliber handgun from a location on Kingston Highway.
Reports added that Morris was also charged with theft by taking, possession of meth, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and failure to appear.
