Marlette Laishell Smith, 24 of Rome, was jailed over the weekend after police said she attacked and then cut a 24 year-old man with a kitchen knife.
Reports said that the victim suffered a cut to his hand.
The altercation occurred at Smith’s home on North Avenue.
Smith is charged with aggravated assault, battery and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime.
