Faizon Lothell Smothers, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week for allegedly burglarizing a home on Addington Drive.
Police said that Smothers forced his way into the home and in the process causing damage to the back door.
Smothers is charged with first degree burglary and criminal trespass.
