Edward Glen Turner, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he began to walk around a location on East Main Street screaming and arguing with himself.
Reports said that Turner also possessed a knife and stated that he wanted to stab someone. They added that a 49 year-old female was present and was forced to hide in a restroom due to his instability.
Turner is charged with simple assault and reckless conduct.
