An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, Michael Rayshawn Shannon, 24 of Atlanta, was captured after police said he escaped custody while on work detail at the Rome/Floyd Recycling Center.
Reports said that Shannon escaped on January 23 and was captured on February 6.
Shannon is charged with felony escape.
