Cody Craig Barnes, 27 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after he allegedly wrote a check from an account of a 63 year-old victim that had been closed.
Reports said that the check was in the amount of $200.
The incident occurred back on November 5th.
Barnes is charged with fourth degree forgery.
