Shaquinne Tyrone Gallimore, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly choked and hit a 22 year-old woman.
Reports said that the acts were committed in front of a 3 month old child.
Gallimore is charged with aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children and failure to appear .
