Donald James Maynard, 53 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend after police said he hit a 21 year-old man in the face and chest.
Reports said that Maynard also allegedly damaged the door of the victim’s vehicle during the altercation, which occurred on North Avenue.
Maynard is charged with criminal trespass and battery.
