Holly Ann Phillips, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she slapped her boyfriend in the face and then punched him in the stomach.
Reports said that the victim suffered visible redness to his face.
The alleged incident occurred at a home on Pine Street on December 12th
Phillips is charged with simple battery.
