Alex Maxwell Carver, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly made physical threats against a 22 year-old woman before lighting her possessions on fire.
Reports went on to add that Carver proceeded to push, hit and pull the victim’s hair and bursting her lip all before placing his hands around her neck and leaving red marks.
Carver is charged with aggravated assault, battery and two counts of simple battery.
