Christopher Michael Collier, 45 of Lindale, was arrested at a location on Chubb Road after he allegedly pushed a 42 year-old man into a vehicle and then proceeded to break his rain guards.
Officers said that after arriving on scene Collier refused to be handcuffed. While initiated in a struggle, Collier allegedly kicked out the legs of an officer and proceeded to stomp on his leg and knee, resulting in the officer not able to use his leg. Collier is also accused of spitting in the officer’s face.
Reports added that Collier also threatened police while yelling profane words in public.
Collier is charged with battery, criminal trespass, aggravated battery against law enforcement, obstruction of an officer, battery, simple battery against a police officer and disorderly conduct.
