Two individuals, Dean Martin Hartley Jr, 32 of Rome, and Hallzie Taylor Binkley, 22 of Silver Creek, were arrested on numerous drug and gun charges after being pulled over in a traffic stop.
Reports stated that Hartley was pulled over for driving on a suspended license at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Spruce Street,
Police said that a search of the vehicle uncovered several baggies of suspected methamphetamine that were packaged for distribution. They also said that both Hartley and Binkley are, who are convicted felons, were found with a 22 long rifle. In addition a syringe was found in the vehicle.
Both are charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of drug related objects.
Hartley is additionally charged with driving on a suspended license.
