Two Rome women, Pamela Michelle Simpson, 27, and Misty Nichole Allen, 39, were jailed this week after they were charged with trying to give a fake check to a car dealership on Shorter Avenue.
Reports stated that the check was in the amount of $2,850.
The incident occurred on July 10 of this year.
Both are charged with theft by deception and probation violation.
Simpson is additionally charged with giving false information to police.
