Jarvis Marquise Simpkins, 25 of Rome, was jailed this week after he allegedly injured a 25 year-old woman at a home on Jack Street.
Reports said that Simpkins placed his hands on the woman’s chest and throat before throwing her onto the couch.
Simpkins is charged with simple battery.
