Henry David Nails, 48 of Silver Creek, was arrested on Thursday after he was caught trying ot burglarize a home on Maple Street.
Reports stated that Nails was prying open a window when he was spotted by a witness. Reports went on to state that he then run to another location.
Police said that when they arrived on the scene Nails attempted to escape capture by running into the woods. He was later apprehended after a short chase.
Nails is charged with burglary, obstruction of law enforcement and probation violation.
