Stephanie Marie Matthews, 25 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend after allegedly harboring a wanted felon.
Reports said that Matthews “knowingly harbored Michael Helms, a convicted felon who is currently wanted for felony probation violation.”
Reports added that Matthews lied about knowing the identity of the subject and allowed Helms time to escape the residence.
Matthews is charged with hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
