Toby Ray Norton, 40 of Rome, was arrested after allegedly attacking his ex-wife with a wiffle ball bat.
Reports stated that Norton hit the woman in the leg, which resulted in visible injuries.
Police said that the attack occurred at a home on Tamassee Lane apartments back on June 10 of this year.
Norton is charged with battery.
