Norman Shawn Silvey, 52 of Rome, was arrested on Thursday after he allegedly sold a stolen air condition unit from a home on Watson Drive.
Reports stated Silvey made the purchaser believe that the unit was his when he sold it to him for $30.
The unit was valued at $200.
Silvey is charged with theft by taking and theft by deception.
